She's Crafty

I have been busy on Pinterest  and this week I have done four ideas that I have been wanting to do. I'll post all of them when they are done because some of them are in various stages of done. But I did complete the homemade laundry soap and I'll have admit that I like it so far and it's going to save money ( not that laundry soap is kill me every little bit helps )

                                                     1 1/2 cup washing soda
                                                          1 1/2 cup Borax
                                                   one bar of Zote shredded

Shred the Zote

Add Soda and Borax and then blend so it's a fine powder

When done I put in a jar. I only use 2 Tablespoons per load and it works great. I'm thinking about doing this as little gifts for people this Christmas and attaching the recipe and a little scooper with a ribbon to the jar.  Will see

Hip, Hip Hooray! First School Day 2012

Jack and Georgia began there first day of school 2012 on September 4 the day after labor day. As fun as summer was I'm so glad that it's time to get back to it. Georgia is starting kindergarden this year and it's the first time that the State has required that they go all day. ( anything for the mighty buck) At First Georgia was excited and ready to go but, by Wed. night she had a complete melt down. Georgia thinks that school take to long to get back to me ( bless her heart I was almost in tears when she said that) Her teacher tells me that she is not the only one that is lost by 2 pm. She said that by Wed. afternoon she had seven kids that were crying. I think that all day is a long day for a five year old. I would like thank governor Snyder for my 5 year olds nightly melt downs all for the almighty dollars.

Jack is in the fourth grade this year and this is the last year he will be at West it's very sad. His teacher is Mrs. Armstrong and she is also my first cousin so, that is really nice to have a teacher that I know really well and I'm not afraid to ask questions and tell her what I think of thing. ( Please, when has that ever stopped me )
