Oh Christmas Tree Oh Christmas Tree

This is the third year that we got a fresh Christmas tree. We have been thinking about taking the kids to a tree farm to cut one down but, really that just seems like a lot of work. LOL! So, we find a little lot in town and let the kids help pick it out. It all works out. Maybe next year will try the whole farm thing. We let the tree stand for a day and then let the kid decorate it. I love doing this, the kids always have fun. I have to rearrange everything when they go to bed because they are all in the same area and nothing on the top or the sides. I'm sure my mom did the same thing.

On the weekend we had a few cousins over for cookie decorating and lunch that's alway a fun mess, but every year gets better and better.

4 years old!

Evan is turns 4 years old today! WOW! It just seems so old! Evan is so funny he loves being around his brother and sister wants to do ANYTHING they are doing. The sun rises and sets on Jack and "his Brudder" is his favorite.

Evan likes to play on the Wii. Loves to play Just Dance LOL he loves dancing.

Evan is into everything to do with the Minions. We had a birthday party this weekend with a few of his friends and had a blast. Steven and I made a Minion cake and I think we did a pretty good job. We got Evan a bike with training wheels and a Wii game that he wanted. The bike was all he talked about since riding it at Toys R Us a few week ago.

Back to School and other things

Kids are off and about 4 weeks into school year 2013-14 so far so good. Both kids are taking the bus this year. that is new for us but I'm liking it. I don't have deal with that parking lot at school.

I've been keeping busy hanging with Evan. Evan is my buddy, we are running errands and going up to school. I love this age. He looks so much like Jack it's crazy! I have also been doing some crafty stuff around the house. (I'll post that later)

Keeping the Summer Alive

I'm trying to keep the summer going the best we can. The weather has been cool and we are about 3 weeks away from school starting. I'm trying to cram in as much as possible since we kinda had a lazy summer without to many commitments.

Last weekend Steven and I took the kids to the Kent County Youth fair and had a blast! I could write a whole blog on "People Watching at a Carnival" it's crazy the amount of weirdos that attend a carnival.

On Sunday we went to the park with my nieces and played on the splash pad and on the playground we had a blast and spent three hours.

Soooooo I Do have a blog........ But........

Busy year is all I can say about my HUGE break in our family blog. I started working up at the kids school in the lunchroom and also was VP of the PTO ( never again with the PTBLOW) So what have you missed? You know, day to day shit that really isn't to exciting. We did get a dog and we lover her. Our dogs name is Ruby she was a rescue dog and she fits our house perfect.

This was Jack's last year at West elementary and he will be going to a 5th and 6th grade building it's a little said that he will be moving on and I'm not impressed with the school but, I don't have a lot of options at this time.( He's so smart)  On the last day of school the whole school and staff line the hallways and as the 4th graders left the building for the last time everyone claps them out. ( I'm not going to lie I did tear up )

Georgia is moving on to the 1st grade and is doing well she just turned 6 and is very proud that she can swim in the deep in without a life jacket. She got a new bike for her birthday and had a really fun party.

Jack turned 10 this year and it blows my mind. We got him a Nook HD for his birthday and he wasn't expecting that at all. We also let him have a couple of friends over and go to craigs cruisers and then a sleepover in the tent in our back yard. We downloaded a movie to the ipad and they had popcorn and video games all night. Jack had a BLAST and talked about it for week afterward.

Evan is just happy playing with everyone who want to play over at his house. He loves playing in our little pool and riding his big wheel. WE ARE POTTY TRAINED 100% I have been buying diapers non stop since 2007 when Georgia was born and it feels so good to be free of those MFer's
