I Want to do Bad Things to You

My Guiltiest of guilty pleasures comes back for a 5th season on HBO this Sunday night! This very naughty show with super hot guys what makes my Sunday nights in the summer something to look forward to. Two years ago when Evan was a baby there was nothing on TV so, I went to the video store and decided to rent the first season and we watched it and loved it. ( Steven too) We went back and got the second season and when we finished that we ordered HBO on our cable pkg.  I'm so hooked on this naughty show.

Let the Summer Begin

 In my book Memorial Day is the beginning of summer. As normal we all headed up to Harper Lake to Mom and Mikes cottage with Twelve adults eleven grandkids and a dog.  Even though Saturday and Sunday were not the best the it didn't stop the kids from swimming and playing all day.  These kids get more and more fun the older they get. We went on boat rides played games  made s'mores. Next stop fourth of July!

Car Wash while we can!

I wonder how long washing the car will be "fun" until that day let the car washing begin! Saturday the weather was in the 80's and the kids wanted to play in the sprinkler so, we combined the two. Sprinkler and car wash together. Sweet!

Busy, Busy

With school almost done I have something going on everyday for the last two weeks and looking at the rest of this month it's not slowing down. I guess this is  a good thing. PTO meetings, end of the school year field trips and field day and a countless number of birthday parties and mothers day. Don't get me started on mothers day! Let's just say I dread mothers day. Am I the only one that feels this way. Steven got called into work on SUNDAY!!! this is the first Sunday in 14 year that he's had to work and on mothers day of all days. Between me and my mom, my mother in law and Steven's step mom that is four mothers day gifts, dinners/ lunches brunches and desserts. All the time holding down the fort with three kids. I had one small pity party for myself but, put the big girl panties on and got through the day.  UGH!

HOLY MOSES! That about covers this book I have been reading! It's been refer to as "mommy porn" WHATEVER it's HOT!!!! I do have to say that it's VERY VERY explicit and VERY adult! It's like Twilight meet Nine and a half weeks on steroids! I read it, no mean I devoured it in two days. My poor kids my poor house completely neglected. It's a trilogy and I am waiting at the door for the UPS man ! LOL! (don't tell Steven) So, if you are looking for a good read and you are not easily offended by all things SEX, I highly recommend this book. BRAIN CANDY!

Easter time fun

The highlight of last Saturday was coloring easter eggs. All morning that's all the kids asked to do. They were complete angels when we went to meijers because I had to threaten them with NOT coloring eggs if they were bad. I have admit I wish I had something like coloring eggs every time we go to the store.

Easy Baking and Roller Skating

MMMMM MMMMMM Good! I can't even tell you how excited Georgia was to use her new Easy Bake Oven. First anyone who knows, knows she is crazy about "helping" me in the kitchen. So, when she go to sit at the kitchen table and do it all by herself she was beyond happy. She made a cake and put sprinkles on it when she was done she shared it with everyone in the house including the Jacks friend that was over playing. I remember my Easy Bake oven and loved it too. I'm just so happy she can have great memories with hers too.




We have discover Terry Hall Roller Skating specials on Sunday. $5.00 per kid and parents skate free. (Evan is free) so, for $10.00 we can skate for two hours. Super cheap family fun. Jack, Georgia and Evan all have their own skates and are doing really good. Jack is very proud of himself. Evan need to be pushed in a stroller after a few times around the rink. Lucky for us they have umbrella stroller to use, I don't think he minded that they were pink.
