About a year ago I came to the the realization that going out to eat with all three kids other than fast food was just not worth it. We could go to Applebee's sit down order food they will only half eat and fight over who has what color crayon, or someone will spill their drink or god forbid start crawling under the table. Just so, $50.00 later Steven and I are getting in the car more stressed out than if I would have just stayed in for dinner. So, I leave going out for dinners just for date nights and what not. But, last night for the first time in I don't know who long we took the kids out to eat where they had to sit down and be good. ( when I state kids I really mean miss naughty pants Georgia) Now I know it's not anything big to go to Steak and Shake but, it's a start. Everyone did really well! No fighting over crayons or paper only a little spill but, over all not to bad! Evan got a little fussy toward the end but, thank god for crackers! Maybe we can try some place nicer soon. I just don't want to push my luck.
